Onimusha: Way of the Sword launched worldwide on Friday, September 4, 2026, on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 at the same time. All four platforms went live together, so there is no staggered regional schedule to track for the core launch.

Capcom confirmed the date in an official press release on July 2, 2026, announcing the release had been moved up to September 4 from a previously scheduled later-September date.
