Quick Answer
Deluxe bundles the base game with the Deluxe Kit. Red Armor, the sword appearances and Crimson Lotus change Musashi’s look. The Oni Lady, Little Dancer and Mentor charms have equipped ability effects. Claim the kit at a Spirit Mirror, use Change Appearance for the looks, and Main Menu → Equipment → Charms for the charms. These menus unlock separately through story progression.

Deluxe Kit detail
What the Deluxe Kit actually adds
The Deluxe Kit dresses Musashi with the Red Armor outfit and adds a set of cosmetic pieces: sword appearances such as Raizan, Enryuu, Bamboo & Panda and the Whittled Oar, plus the Crimson Lotus Oni Gauntlet look. These change appearance only and do not alter performance in battle — the Raizan and Enryuu skins evoke the classic elemental blades by design alone.
Oni Lady, Little Dancer and Mentor are equippable charms that strengthen Musashi’s abilities. They are separate from the appearance items and from clothing, sword and gauntlet enhancements.
The value question
Is the extra $10 worth it?
Choose Deluxe if you want its particular appearances and three kit charms. Standard includes the base campaign and its quest charm rewards, so compare the extras with how you plan to play before choosing an edition.
Musashi receives comparatively few outfits while several non-playable characters also get bonus looks, which tempers the kit's appeal if you care mainly about the character visible during play.
Buying tips
Check before you click
The Deluxe Kit is also sold as an add-on and requires the base game. Check the contents of your existing edition before buying it separately. Apply the latest game update, then claim owned items at the Spirit Mirror.
Use the free demo to try the combat before buying. Every edition includes the base campaign; the additional charms provide extra equipped options.
