Build the travel network as you explore
Activate each new Spirit Mirror on arrival. Before leaving a region, check that its destination is available in your travel menu. This saves a long walk when you later return for one reward.
Use a nearby mirror as the start of a cleanup route and work outward. In the Laboratory, check the floor number as well as the destination name so you do not repeat an upstairs loop while looking for a lower-level chest.
What to check when a route is blocked
Start with the active mission and the type of obstruction. Thread barriers require tracing the thread with Oni Vision and destroying its creature. Other Oni interactions depend on the abilities and story progress available on that save.
Record the landmark and continue the main objective if you cannot use the interaction yet. Once the story opens more options, return from the nearest activated mirror and check the same obstruction again.
Plan one region at a time
Group nearby rewards into one visit. For example, a Laboratory return can pair the Earth-Shakers chest with any missed lower-floor exploration; a trip to Rokudo-chinnoji can pair charm enhancement with the next story conversation.
Before The Clash at Rendaino, save separately and review unfinished quests and collections. After the ending, Continue also returns you before the final mission for cleanup.
