Find the right kind of help
Story, demo or a mission route?
Main Story Guide explains Musashi’s journey, the main characters and how the ending works. Demo Guide covers the playable trial and save carryover. For directions through a mission or location, open the Walkthrough routes.
Prepare your first run
Set up your controls, then choose what to do first
Open Controller Settings when you want a comfortable button layout, more predictable camera movement or help with a PC controller profile. It includes a short practice routine so you can check one adjustment before changing another. What to Do First turns your opening hours into a sequence of decisions: learn defense, follow the current objective, inspect available upgrades and choose useful side content.
These pages answer different questions. Use Controller Settings for the physical input that is getting in your way, What to Do First for priorities, and the Walkthrough for a named mission or location. The Side Missions page lists every Mystery of Kyoto and Chance Encounter by unlock stage, so you can see whether a detour is available on your current save.
Start with the broad question
Choose a guide that matches what you need now
Use this guide hub as the starting point for any question that is broader than a single boss, location, or platform. If you are new to the game or want a structured refresher, begin with the Beginner Guide. It explains checkpoint recovery, the three soul colors, early upgrades and the first-boss learning loop in one route. If your question is about timing, defensive options, or how the core fighting systems fit together, go directly to the Combat Guide. Its focus is the relationship between Block, Parry, Deflect, Dodge and Issen, including when each response is safest. Both pages establish the vocabulary used elsewhere in the wiki, so they make the rest of the guide library easier to scan without forcing you through unrelated material.
Already know your goal?
Move directly to the most focused route
Choose a more focused route when you already know your goal. The Walkthrough organizes story and exploration help, while the Difficulty Guide helps you find the page built around challenge selection and upgrade decisions. Open the Achievement Guide when you are planning completion tasks, and use the Demo Guide when your question is specifically about the playable demo rather than the full guide set. For encounters, the Bosses hub groups major fights and weaknesses; for loadout decisions, the Tier List compares weapons, upgrades, armor and charms. Each card below names its purpose, so you can jump to the closest match instead of reading the hub from top to bottom.
