Reach the temple stage
- Travel to the Kiyomizu-dera approach and follow the active objective.
- At a thread-sealed gate, activate Oni Vision and follow the thread away from the blockage.
- Destroy the Thread Genma at the far end, then return to the opened path.
- Repeat the process at the next obstruction and collect the chest holding The Two Celestials.
- Proceed to the stage and absorb the Malice to advance the mission.
Prepare for the Ganryu duel
Keep your defensive inputs deliberate. Use the duel to learn his attack endings, then punish with a short string before returning to defense. Depleting his stamina creates a Break Issen opportunity.
The Two Celestials can generate healing souls while attacking. Use a safe opening to activate an Armament rather than treating the button as protection from an attack already in progress.
Continue below the stage into the Oni Refuge
After Ganryu, follow the stairs down and the next Malice objective. Oni Vision and Oni Power reveal the way into the refuge. Keep following the main route until you reach the chest containing the Oni Bow.
Use the bow on the circular targets attached to the moving blocks. A top target raises a block; later, a lower target lets you reposition a block to cross it. Change your viewing angle when a target is hidden rather than firing at the stone itself.
Finish the route through Daidara
Daidara’s large swings have a different rhythm from Ganryu’s sword strings. Watch the start of each attack, avoid rushing a counter and recover loose souls when it is safe so he cannot absorb them.
