Switch 2 pricing is confirmed on the Nintendo store, and the physical PS5 disc also retails at $69.99 with a reversible cover sheet as the retail bonus.

Edition ladder

The three digital tiers and what each adds

Every digital storefront uses the same three-tier structure. All tiers contain the identical base game — the ladder exists purely for bonus kits and Early Adopter bonuses.

The kits are cosmetic-and-charm content: outfits, sword appearances and charms. The charms (such as Lion Dog and the Deluxe trio) affect gameplay by granting special effects; the outfits and sword skins are appearance only.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is not part of any subscription catalog. The Xbox listing is explicit: cloud playable with Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate, but game purchase required — the subscription provides the streaming channel, never the license.

What the price buys you

The $69.99 price buys a focused, linear action game rather than a sprawling open world. Its value comes from the polished swordplay, replayable boss fights, New Game Plus, and the unlockable Carnage difficulty.

For undecided buyers the free demo remains the cheapest possible due diligence: it covers the opening of Kyoto and the full defensive toolkit, and it was still available on storefronts after launch.
